Cedar Creek Fish Passage Restoration Del Norte County, California

In this video clip, Big R Bridge is installing a modular bridge to replace a culvert in a fish passage project in Del Norte County in Northern California.

The bridge was installed on precast footings, and with steel sheet pile end closures.  It is one of many directed at improving fish passage at road crossings.

Removing culverts that block fish passage and replacing them with fish friendly structures has opened up 100’s of miles of salmon spawning and rearing habitat.
