  • Presentation Topic: Simplifying Short Span Steel Bridge Design and Construction – The Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance introduces two free, practical design tools—eBEAM140 and eSPAN140—that streamline the design and construction of economical short span steel bridges. Built on AASHTO specifications, these “off-the-shelf” resources help engineers, owners and contractors develop efficient solutions using standard steel details. The session also includes a contractor’s perspective on ways to simplify fabrication and construction, improving project efficiency, reducing costs, and accelerating bridge delivery.
