Title: Galvanize It! Core Webinar
Date: Wednesday, August 26, 2026
Time: 1:00pm ET
Sponsor: American Galvanizers Association
Cost: Free
Learning Credits: This course is accredited by AIA and RCEP to provide 1.0 LU/PDH (HSW Hour).
Description: The Core Galvanize It! seminar introduces you to the basics of hot-dip galvanized steel. For more than 100 years, hot-dip galvanizing has been a mainstay of North American industry. Used in various applications in some of the harshest environments, hot-dip galvanizing combats corrosion throughout the world. Though corrosion resistance is inherent any time galvanizing is used, more specifiers select hot-dip galvanizing now for other reasons including lowest initial and life-cycle cost, durability, longevity, versatility, sustainability, and aesthetics. This course will examine the hot-dip galvanizing process as well as other zinc coatings, and detail the intrinsic benefits galvanizing provides.
