12-Part Technical Video Bridge Series

12-Part Topic-Based Technical Bridge Video Series

The SSSBA produced a 12-part series of topic-based videos that address common technical questions related to the design and installation of short span steel bridges.

The series reviews basic concepts and ideas pertinent to engineers new to bridge design and those looking for a refresher in fundamental concepts.

The lectures were developed to educate current and future engineers on various topics related to short-span steel bridge design that are not covered by typical 4-year undergraduate engineering programs.

The videos are presented by Greg Michaelson, Ph.D., P.E., associate professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Marshall University.
